Co-founders of North Shore Nurse Practitioner Associates, LLC
While working for several years in primary care and serving the north shore, Dale and Susan saw the growing need for high quality and compassionate mental health care. It inspired them to continue their education and attain additional certifications in psychiatric nursing and psychopharmacology. With this inspiration, North Shore Nurse Practitioner Associates was born.
Susan McGowan Dirks

Susan Dirks, APRN, CNS, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional with certifications as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. With extensive training and expertise in mental health and primary care, Susan has provided high quality integrative health care on the Northshore for over 25 years.
Susan graduated with academic honors from the University of Massachusetts Lowell earning her Master of Science, and completed earning the highest of honors the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Post Graduate program at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
As an experienced clinical psychiatric nurse specialist, Susan provides psychiatric evaluation and management to adults over the age of 18. Susan is committed to providing holistic and personalized care to her patients. She utilizes a collaborative approach that emphasizes a patients right to self determination.
Susan worked for several years as an adult nurse practitioner in primary care, while also providing inpatient subacute care in the community. She has long standing active affiliate medical privileges at Beverly Lahey, and her approach to patient care is collaborative and patient-centered, emphasizing empowerment and self-care. She enjoys team work, and also worked as a consultant developing programs in primary care practices to enhance access to mental health at the primary care level utilizing a collaborative care model. She is well respected in the medical community.
In addition to her clinical credentials, Susan is also certified in Reiki, a healing technique that promotes relaxation and stress reduction. She is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental illness.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Susan enjoys practicing yoga, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and is always seeking new ways to enhance the well-being of those she serves.
Susan is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, and Sigma XI, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
She is also a member in good standing with the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurses Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Massachusetts Nurses Association.
Matthew DiFilippo

Matthew DiFilippo is joining North Shore Nurse Practitioner Associates as a new provider and is now accepting new patients!
Matt graduated from Salem State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Nursing PMHNP from Regis College in 2022.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Matt also pursued and received a B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Matt’s clinical rotation took place at Maine Behavioral Health with Dr. Toscano, where he had experience in their outpatient psychiatric clinic in 2022. After graduating nursing school, Matt worked as a nursing assistant and nurse at Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center in Brighton. He also has experience working in the operating room as nurse at North Shore Medical Center (2019-2020), and currently at Maine Medical Center since 2020. He joins North Shore Nurse Practitioner Associates in June 2024 as a Nurse Practitioner.
Outside of medicine, Matt’s interests include mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his dogs.
Christine Dale Raucci

Dale Raucci is a well-respected Nurse Practitioner having graduated with honors from both Northeastern University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing, and from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions having earned her Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
As a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, Dale provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management to adults over the age of eighteen. She utilizes a holistic, compassionate and collaborative approach and encourages patients to be active in their own treatment planning.
Dale began her nursing career in 1974 after graduating from Salem State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a nurse primarily in Dialysis at Beverly Hospital for almost 20 years and was board certified in Nephrology. She then went on to work as an Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for twelve years. There she had the opportunity to practice preventive care as well as treatment of various acute and chronic health conditions.
Dale is a member in good standing with the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Massachusetts Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses, the Massachusetts Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing.

Anne Bellefeuille, Ph.D

Anne has a wide range of clinical experience providing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations to children, adults, and seniors. In 2000 Anne received her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology at the University of Montreal in Canada, where she specialized in Neuropsychology. She is licensed as a psychologist, health service provider, in the state of Massachusetts since April of 2007.
Anne has 25+ years of experience working both in hospital settings and private practice to provide assessment services and educational evaluations. She started her career in 1994 at Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. She gained experience working in the Memory Clinic at Douglas Hospital in Montreal during various internships and clinical settings, assessing patients with dementia, psychiatric disorders, epilepsy, head trauma, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
Outside of neuropsychology Anne enjoys spending her free time travelling, hiking, visiting her family in Canada, and being with her three children.
Currently, Anne is only taking clients via referral. She accepts the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, and Optum.
